Micro and Nano Needling

Micro and Nano-Needling treatments are minimally invasive natural skin-rejuvenation procedures that involve the use of the Microneedle Pen.  Both treatments induce cell turnover, serum absorption, and provoke the healing process that results in increased collagen and elastin production.  Micro and Nano-needling are used in combination with Hyaluronic Acid and other medical lab grade Plant Stem Cell and peptide serums to hydrate and heal the skin.  This improves skin tone, texture, and firmness, and can address specific concerns such as scars, discoloration, pore size, stretch marks, and hair loss.

Microneedling

One hour sessions include microneedling, tailored serum application and red light therapy.  For best results, typically treatments are once every 4-6 weeks for 3-6 sessions.

Nanoneedling

A gentler treatment.  One hour sessions include nano needling, specific serums tailored to skin concerns and red light therapy.  Can be done on its own or in between micro sessions to speed results

Red Light Therapy

The Celluma Red Light Therapy Device is FDA cleared and utilizes specific wavelengths of red, blue and far infrared light to treat skin conditions and pain. Included in all micro and nano session.

In Micro-Needling, also know as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), the needles puncture the skin vertically and create a controlled injury at a specific depth. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body’s natural healing process to fill these micro wounds by producing new collagen and elastin in the papillary dermis. In addition, new capillaries are formed for improved blood supply.

With Microneedling, the top layer of the skin is parted without being damaged, leaving the skin intact. It does not “burn” your skin as with peels or more invasive lasers. The needle penetration depth can be adjusted from 0.25 mm to 2.50 mm into the skin depending on the area of the body and the skin condition being treated. Using skin needling consistently will trigger the body’s repair process until the desired level of skin rejuvenation is achieved.

Microneedling results in  improvement in skin tone, texture, and firmness as well as reduction in scars, pore size, stretch marks, and hair loss.

Microneedling is used in combination with Hyaluronic Acid and high grade natural peptide serums to hydrate and heal the skin.  The micro-channels created by the needles allow for deeper penetrations of topical serums for more effective results. This procedure can increase the skins ability to utilize the nutrients by up to 300%.

Nanoneedling is similar to micro needling but more gentle.  The nano cartridge oscillates like a microneedle cartridge, except it has 81 microscopic silicone cones and doesn’t puncture the skin. Nano-Needling only affects the epidermis, treating within the upper 0.15 mm of the skin.  This technique is used for thinner, more fragile skin such as under the eyes.  These microscopic hair-like cones separate the cells within the epidermis to allow active products to be pushed into the skin.  The benefits of this serum infusion treatment include pigmentation reduction, increased cell turnover, skin rejuvenation, and an immediate glow with no downtime. This treatment can be done weekly to exfoliate the skin.

Celluma Red Light Therapy is a safe non invasive medical device cleared by the FDA utilizing LED phototherapy for therapeutic benefits.  Specific wavelengths of red, blue and far infrared light are known to promote healing, increase circulation, accelerate tissue repair, decrease wrinkles, kill acne causing bacteria, decrease inflammation, improve skin tone and wrinkles, texture and clarity, and ease muscle and joint pain, stiffness, spasm, and arthritis.  The light energy is absorbed by photoreceptors in the mitochondria and upregulates ATP production and and various metabolic processes that increase repair and regeneration of tissue.
